1. If a pilgrim fears that he will not be able to reach Muzdalifah and perform the Maghrib and ‘Isha prayers before the time for ‘Isha ends, he should perform Maghrib and ‘Isha together on the way while the time for ‘Isha still remains.
2. At present, some parts of Muzdalifah are used as Mina. The Mina tents of most Nonbalti Bangladeshi pilgrims are located in Muzdalifah. Although this area is used as Mina, since it is essentially part of Muzdalifah, spending the night in this area will count as spending the night in Muzdalifah.
3. Many pilgrims think that collecting pebbles from Muzdalifah is a virtuous deed. This is a completely mistaken notion. Rather, they may be collected from wherever it is easy to do so. However, nowadays it is quite difficult to find pebbles after reaching Mina. Therefore, there is no problem in collecting them from Muzdalifah.
4. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, collected only the pebbles for the first day from Muzdalifah. Therefore, it is sufficient to collect only the seven pebbles for the first day. The remaining ones may be collected from Mina. If you think that you will collect the pebbles for all the days at once, you may do so as well. Accordingly, if you intend to stay in Mina on the 13th, take 70 pebbles. Otherwise, take 49 pebbles. However, it is better to take one or two extra rather than taking exactly the required number, because if any pebble misses its target while being thrown, you will fall short, and you will not find pebbles there.
5. Take chickpea-sized pebbles that can be thrown with the fingers.
6. There is no ruling that requires the pebbles to be washed with water, because no hadith mentions that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, washed the pebbles.
