Hajj

I would like to know the Islamic etiquette of staying at Arafah and making supplication.

The etiquettes are as follows:

(1) Performing ghusl,

(2) Being in a state of complete purity,

(3) Facing the Qiblah while making du‘a and reciting other tasbihs,

(4) Increasing the amount of du‘a, tasbih, tawbah, and istighfar,

(5) Supplicating for oneself and others, seeking well-being and salvation in both this world and the Hereafter,

(6) Raising both hands while making du‘a,

(7) Supplicating with a humble heart and with khushu‘ and khudu‘,

(8) Keeping one’s voice low during du‘a and not supplicating aloud.
