(1) Perform tawaf first, and then Sa‘i.
(2) Begin at ‘Safa’ and finish at ‘Marwah’.
(3) Cover the full distance between ‘Safa’ and ‘Marwah’. Falling even slightly short will not suffice.
(4) Complete seven circuits.
(5) Sa‘i must be performed in the designated place for Sa‘i. Performing it alongside that area will not suffice.
