The methods are as follows:
(1) After noon, it is mustahabb to maintain the following order: first perform the stoning, and then offer the Zuhr prayer. (Bukhari) Since there is an intense crowd, it is better not to try to maintain this order.
(2) If you proceed toward the Ka‘bah from Masjid al-Khayf in Mina, you will first see the small Jamrah, then the middle Jamrah, and finally the large Jamrah. First, stone the small Jamrah, leaving it to your left. Then move a little forward, stand facing the qiblah, recite ‘Alhamdulillah,’ ‘Allahu Akbar,’ and ‘La ilaha illallah,’ and raise both hands in supplication.
(3) Then proceed to the middle Jamrah. Here too, as before, throw each pebble while saying ‘Allahu Akbar.’ Afterwards, recite ‘Alhamdulillah,’ ‘Allahu Akbar,’ and ‘La ilaha illallah,’ then stand facing the qiblah, raise both hands, and make as lengthy a supplication as you can in Arabic or Bangla. Making supplication individually is the Sunnah.
(4) Finally, come to the large Jamrah and throw 7 pebbles, without stopping there afterward. Leave the Jamrah. Following the same procedure, throw 7+7+7 = 21 pebbles each day during the final 3 days.
