What should a man's Ihram garments be like?

He should wear two pieces of cloth like sheets: one around the lower body and the second over the upper body. The cloths must be unstitched. It is recommended that they be clean and white. No third or other type of clothing may be worn, such as a cap, undershirt, underwear, or even an amulet. However, a shawl or blanket may be used for protection from the cold.
