Ihram

What should women experiencing menstruation or postnatal bleeding do at the time of entering ihram?

They will clean themselves, perform ghusl, and enter into ihram. However, while menstruating or experiencing postnatal bleeding, they will not perform prayer or tawaf of the Ka‘bah. They will perform all the other rites. Then, once they become pure, they will perform wudu and ghusl, followed by tawaf and sa‘i. If menstruation begins after entering ihram, they still must not perform tawaf of the Ka‘bah until they become pure.
