The sacred birthplace of the Prophet ﷺ is well known. It is located at the entrance to Shi‘b ‘Ali. Shi‘b ‘Ali was where the Banu Hashim clan lived and where the Quraysh kept them under siege. People began taking soil from that place seeking blessings, which is a reprehensible and polytheistic act. Therefore, a library was later established there. Shaykh ‘Abbas Qattan built it in 1371 AH with his personal wealth.
